Our classes are thoughtfully designed to help every student succeed.

Age-Appropriate Instruction
Each class is tailored to the student’s age and developmental stage. Research shows that attention spans vary by age, so we structure lessons to maximize focus, engagement, and learning—making sure every minute counts.

Multi-Level Learning
Students begin their journey in our Piano Labs, where their current skill level is assessed. From there, they are placed on a personalized learning path that meets them exactly where they are. In our group studio classes, students are offered level-appropriate options, allowing complete beginners and advanced pianists alike to feel challenged, supported, and continuously improving, together.

    Welcome to Journey First Steps!

    An intro to piano class for preschool-aged children.

    Classes are 30 minutes weekly and include the following three things in that time:

    Journey Lab ~ 10 Minutes: Students begin their journey each week with guided piano practice on Piano Maestro in the Journey Piano Labs. This amazing interactive piano-learning app is a guided learning experience. It provides real-time feedback on accuracy and rhythm and instant encouragement that builds confidence. This app is available for them to use for home practice. This allows each child to progress at their own speed and to challenge them on their own level.

    Journey Studio ~ 10 Minutes: Students then meet in the main Journey Studio to build strong piano foundations while learning a diverse repertoire of songs. Students will explore playing individual solos, group ensembles, as well as experimenting with improvisation and composition.

    Music Theory ~ 5 Minutes: The final part of class follows the PianoBox monthly curriculum, introducing a new music theory concept each month. Weekly games and activities make learning music theory fun, interactive, and easy to follow.

    Journey Jems ~ 5 Minutes: Along their journey in class each day they will earn Journey Jems and at the end of class they get to turn these in for a reward, or choose to save up their jems for something bigger!

    This class serves as the starting point of each student’s piano journey, laying the groundwork for musical growth!

    Welcome to Journey Beginnings!

    A multi-level piano class for ages 5-7.

    Classes are 30 minutes in length and include the following three things in that time:

    Journey Lab ~ 10 Minutes: Students begin their journey each week with guided piano practice on Piano Maestro in the Journey Piano Labs.     Welcome to Journey Pathways!

    A multi-level piano class for ages 8-10.

    Classes are 45 minutes in length and include the following three things in that time:

    Journey Labs ~ 15 Minutes: Students begin their journey each week with guided piano practice on Piano Maestro or Piano Marvel in the Journey Piano Labs. This amazing interactive piano-learning app is a guided learning experience. It provides real-time feedback on accuracy and rhythm and instant encouragement that builds confidence. This app is available for them to use for home practice. This allows each child to progress at their own speed and to challenge them on their own level.

    Journey Studio ~ 15 Minutes: Students then meet in the main Journey Studio to build strong piano foundations while learning a diverse repertoire of songs. Students will explore playing group ensembles, individual solos, as well as experimenting with improvisation and composition.

    Music Theory ~ 10 Minutes: The final part of class follows the PianoBox monthly curriculum, introducing a new music theory concept each month. Weekly games and activities make learning music theory fun, interactive, and easy to follow.

    This class advances students along their piano journey path by reinforcing core skills, encouraging independent practice, and fostering expressive, confident musicianship.

    Welcome to Journey Destinations!

    A multi-level piano class for ages 11-17.

    Classes are 60 minutes in length and include the following three things in that time:

    Journey Lab ~ 20 Minutes: Students begin their journey each week with guided piano practice on Piano Marvel in the Journey Piano Labs. This amazing interactive piano-learning app is a guided learning experience. It provides real-time feedback on accuracy and rhythm and instant encouragement that builds confidence. This app is available for them to use for home practice. This allows each child to progress at their own speed and to challenge them on their own level.

    Journey Studio ~ 20 Minutes: Students then meet in the main Journey Studio to build strong piano foundations while learning a diverse repertoire of songs. Students will explore playing group ensembles, individual solos, as well as experimenting with improvisation and composition.

    Music Theory ~ 15 Minutes: The final part of class follows the PianoBox monthly curriculum, introducing a new music theory concept each month. Weekly games and activities make learning music theory fun, interactive, and easy to follow.

    Welcome to Journey Encore!

    A multi-level piano class for ages 18+. Whether you are a complete beginner or an advanced pianist wanting to progress… this class is for you!

    Classes are 60 minutes in length and include the following three things in that time:

    Journey Lab ~ 25 Minutes: You begin your journey each week with guided piano practice on Piano Marvel in the Journey Piano Labs. This amazing interactive piano-learning app is a guided learning experience. It provides real-time feedback on accuracy and rhythm and instant encouragement that builds confidence. This app is available for you to use for home practice. This allows you to progress at your own speed and to challenge you on your own level.

    Journey Studio ~ 25 Minutes: We then meet in the main Journey Studio to build strong piano foundations while learning a diverse repertoire of songs. We will explore playing group ensembles, individual solos, as well as experimenting with improvisation and composition.

    Music Theory ~ 10 Minutes: The final part of class follows the PianoBox monthly curriculum, introducing a new music theory concept each month. This is a multi level theory program and will allow you to better understand music.

    This class offers adult students a chance to continue or begin their piano journey at any stage of life.
